Badly in the first book eally are the superheroes in this book They spend the entire book working side by side with Captain Underpants and the cave people in defeating the evil Tippy Tinkletrousers In fact at their darkest hour they go so far as to say We e going to be esponsible and mature from now on Of course they change their mind when they meet their future selves but you just have to ead the book to see whyThere is still potty humour eg the name of the supervillain is Tippy Tinkletrousers and the story itself is beyond idiculous and silly but there are truly laugh out loud moments For example I eally enjoyed eading how the crater in the Yucatan peninsula REALLY was created That being said the storyline is pretty convaluted and confusing with the time traveling back and forth and the multiple selves that go along for the ide In fact even my son couldn t eally say what the story was about I think his exact words were I have no idea when I askedThere is one thing in the book that even my son was taken aback by As he mentioned in his eview there is the I m Smarter Than You song near the end of the book It actually made him uncomfortable he didn t find it funny and nor do I He ead the book before I did and he was telling me Mom there s a part that I eally don t like in the book and I know you won t like it either He was ight It just didn t need to be included clearly it s there simply to create controversyI think you have to dig eally deep to pull out a meaningful message I keep hearing the argument about the underlying message of the books friendship and loyalty but eally it s just a story about good versus evil whose purpose is to entertain eaders I liken these books to candy It has little nutritional value and it is consumed solely for the pleasure of it So at the end of the day if my son eads through it finds it amusing and moves on to a better different book then I can live with thatMy Bottom Line If your kid likes the Captain Underpants books I can eport that I do feel the 10th book has less of the issues I had with the earlier books in the series There are definitely amusing parts to the book even for adults It s just not a genre that esonates with me I would say these books could be ead by children 7 and up but there truly are better books out there I m sure your library has copies if you are desperate to ead these books I m just sayin I will sueeze out 3 stars only because I have to be honest and say that I had less issues with this book and I did actually laugh out loud at than a few parts This book was provided to us by a publicist free of charge in exchange for our honest eview I own this book it s a very interesting novel we learn the truth of our universe we go travel from the dinosaur age to the future My kid still loves everything about this series It gets eally weird in this one A lot of bizarre time travel on an evil pair of pants and big funny antics in the dinosaur times This tenth epic Captain Underpants novel jumps in ight where the ninth one left off with a time traveling Tippy Tinkletrousers having apparently and inadvertently. You might ask didn't the amazing Captain Underpants save the boys from this frightening fate Because Tippy Tinkletrousers and his time traveling hijinks prevented George and Harold from crea.

Book 10 of my Captain Underpants marathon fir my children At the end of book 9 Tippy Tinkletrousers our villain from book 3 or is it 4 I ll have to look it up again Tippy aka Professor Poopy Pants is seeking evenge and wants to destroy Captain Underpants Unfortunately when trying to do so he uins the future buy time warping to the past In book 10 Tippy tries to fix his error and also destroy his nemesis All in all it was okay Not good enough to ave about but not awful Hopefully book 11 is better This series just keeps getting better and better and while much of the humor isn t eally my cup of tea it s impossible not to be amused by the adventures of George and Harold not to mention Captain Underpants and the many versions of Tippy Tinkletrousers Readers will surely hoot in glee at the various iterations of this villain as they peek out from his unzipped pants The focus of this volume is a evisionist history behind the Ice Age the extinction of the dinosaurs and other bits concerning early humans Middle grade eaders will especially enjoy the Flip O Rama that allows them to animate a few pages worth of drawings Even the chapter titles are witty for instance Have an Ice Day p 158 I do not like this book because I did not like the part when Slightly Younger Tiny Tippy made himself be 120 feet tall I enjoyed this book because I liked the part when old Captain Underpants saved Captain Underpants from being kicked around Re eading for fun because why notCute I love easy ead comics children books are easy on the brain and most times I can elax even A little meh compared to the other books I ve ead in the series but to be fair I am older soyeah My son 6 and I the Mom eviewed this book for Here s what we have to sayON SAYS Tippy Tinkletrousers Captain Underpants George Haroldand their little pets keep traveling back and forth through time There were lots of different sizes of Tippy Tinkletrousers and there were old and new Captain Underpants Harolds and Georges and they met in the future I liked all the pictures they make the story funnier My favorites are the Flip O Ramas They are fun and I like doing them I eally liked the cave drawings that Harold and George drew It was cool seeing Ook and Gluk because I like that book too I liked the part where George and Harold were explaining to the cave people what they had to do to defeat Tippy Tinkletrousers I liked how there was a lot of Tippy s like Mega Tippy Tiny Tippy and Supa Mega Tippy Slightly Younger Tiny Tippy Big Tippy It was also funny how George and Harold meet themselves in the future and learn that they are teachers The song in the book I m Smarter Than You was my least favorite part of the story because it was inappropriate It had bad words like dumber and all of it is teasing and teasing is mean This book was funny and I loved eading it I want to ead all the Captain Underpants books I think all boys kid boys would like to ead this bookMOM SAYSMy ThoughtsWell I begrudgingly must admit that some of the issues I had with the first book do not seem to be as much of an issue in this book George and Harold who behave. A world without UNDERPANTSWhen we last saw our heroes George and Harold they had been turned into evil zombie nerds doomed to oam a devastated postapocalyptic planet for all eternity But why.

Vanuished our hero for all time Fortunately both the good guys and the bad guys in the story have access to time travel machines so the action picks up with a complicated convoluted uest to estore things to their ightful orderOver the course of the wacky adventure we get two versions of Captain Underpants fighting side by side three versions of Tippy working together against George and Harold at the same time and the true stories behind the big bang at the creation of the universe the extinction of the dinosaurs the start of the last ice age the first caveman paintings on cave walls in France the world s first comic and And of course the book has plenty of patented Flip O Rama action humor graphic novel sections and idiculous fun Wow said George You mean it s that easy All you have to do is make up your mind and stick to it and you can change the futureYeah I guess so said Haroldview larger Chapter 2Let s Get Serious FolksDid you ever notice how grown ups hate it when kids are having fun Seriously when was the last time you were doing something fun and some adult came over and made you stop If you e like most kids you e probably eading this very book because some adult wanted you to uit playing video games or watching TVIf you don t believe me try this experiment Grab a few of your friends go into the corner of a oom and start goofing around Make some noise Start laughing and cheering and maybe shout out a Woo hoo or two It s been scientifically proven that 894 percent of all grown ups will drop whatever they e doing and ush over to put a stop to whatever nonsense you e up toYou have to wonder why are most grown ups like this Weren t they ever kids themselves Didn t they enjoy laughing and cheering and goofing around when they were young If so when did they stop And whyNow I certainly can t speak for all adults but I m going to anywayI think it s a lot easier for adults to stomp out someone else s fun than it is for them to eflect on their own lives and figure out where it all went so miserably wrong It s just too depressing for grown ups to ponder all the decades of compromises failures laziness fear and egrettable choices that slowly transformed them from unning jumping laughing fun loving kids into grumpy complaining calorie counting easily offended peace and uiet demanding grouchesIn other words it s harder to look within yourself than it is to shout HEY YOU KIDS CUT THAT OUTKeeping this in mind you might not want to smile or laugh while eading this book And when you get to the Flip O Rama parts I suggest you flip with a bored disinterested look on your face or some adult will probably take this book away from you and make you ead Sarah Plain and Tall insteadDon t say I didn t warn youBook titles pictured in the illustrations Lose Weight While Blaming Others and 7 Steps to Living a Marginally Less Unfulfilled Life Pretty frickin hilarious Now I gotta go back and ead the other 9 previous books Many mysteries are solved or made mysteriouser The death of the dinosaurs global cooling even the big kabloosh is unravelled ight before your very eyes And Flip O Rama. Ting Captain Underpants in the first place Now having changed the course of human history forever they'll have to figure out a way to CHANGE IT BACK Could this be the end for Captain Underpan.
