It is good to renew one s wonder said the philosopher Space travel has again made children of us all The Martian Chronicles is a classic work of science fiction by the brilliant author Ray Bradbury The great thing about Bradbury is that he was a super intelligent person as well as being a highly creative imaginative writer He doesn t write science fiction as other science fictions authors tend to blandly coldly or tediously over scientific He writes with both his mind AND his heart weaving together vivid imagery speculative science with highly poetic story telling His stories are bold captivating moving inventive and outlandishly uniue Ray Bradbury is a brilliant artist a stirring poet as well as a wise star gazing philosopher These things make him a iterary master in my opinion They show in his novels His works are powerful and stirring His works are all gems tender nostalgic and at times surreal Science is no than an investigation of a miracle we can never explain and art is an interpretation of that miracle The Martian Chronicles Wife in Exchange like many of Bradbury s other works this one perhaps stands out the most because of his usage of nostalgic elements He is one of the few authors I can think of that gives the reader nostalgia for the future It is a rare concept though one Bradbury uses often and very profoundly It is a brilliant sensation as if he portrays the futureike it were the past a surreal sunset that makes you hunger and weep for what is The Eternal Ice (Magic: The Gathering: Ice Age Cycle, lost When reading his books it gives me the strong sense ofonging for childhood years for remembrance but though it is as if Night And Day looking through a hazy glass or dream world One minute it was Ohio winter with doors closed windowsocked the panes blind with frost icicles fringing every roof children skiing on slopes housewives Tennessee Takedown / Ravens Hollow lumberingike great black bears in their furs along the icy streets And then a ong wave of warmth crossed the small town.
